Rotten Leaves is a literary magazine created in 2009 by Christopher J. Dwyer and Axel Taiari, out of a strong desire to see the fiction we love published and read across the globe.  The magazine features both online and print issues.

Editor in chief (Poetry), design, co-creator and owner:

Axel Hassen Taiari is a writer born in 1984 in France. He spent the majority of his life in Paris. He blew all his money on film school in order to study creative writing and screenwriting. He has been published in a variety of lit zines. He is also the one to blame for the website design, so if anything breaks, feel free to curse his name. Editor in chief (Fiction) and co-creator:

Christopher J. Dwyer writes horror, noir and dark fiction. His work has appeared in such publications as Dogmatika, Twisted Tongue Magazine, Red Fez, Troubadour 21, Sex and Murder, Gold Dust Magazine, and Colored Chalk.

Nik Korpon is from Baltimore, MD. He likes to bang on the keyboard until something intelligible comes out, or his head hurts, whichever comes first. His stories have appeared in various places. He reviews books for the Outsider Writer Collective, co-hosts ‘Last Sunday, Last Rites,’ a reading series in Baltimore, and is writing his second novel. http://nikkorpon.com/

Photographer:

Travis is a humble photographer and digital artist from Houston, Texas. His artwork has appeared in editions of Coleman,the Coleman College of Health Science Magazine, Sideshow Fables #1, and is responsible for the creation of “Scarlet”, “The Masochist”, and “The Two Handed Nightmare”, in the “Museum of Freaks” on SideshowFables.com. His work will also be appearing on the cover of an upcoming novel.

Travis has created his own multifaceted Photography / Screenwriting  /Urban Exploration business entitled Anti-Paradigm Productions. Living by the motto “Go against the flow”, Travis’ dark and unique photography is earning him quick recognition in the Houston art community.
