WHAT IS THIS?
This is our Amazon store. Quite simply put, on this page you will be able to buy books the Rotten Leaves editors have read and enjoyed, or search for similar items, as if you were browsing directly on Amazon.com
WHAT’S THE CATCH?
There is no catch – or rather, no catch that ends up hurting either the authors, or the buyers. We do this through Amazon’s affiliate program. When you decide to buy a book through our store, the price is exactly the same as if you had bought it on Amazon, and the author gets its usual share of the purchase. The only difference is, the magazine earns a tiny percentage, paid by Amazon, for promoting books.
We will never, ever try to shovel bad best sellers down your throats just so we can earn more. We guarantee that any books found on our store are books that we read – either because they touched us so much, or because we feel their authors deserve the attention, or a combination of both.
Any money we make from this will be used to finance our print issues. We promise we won’t blow it all on drugs and toys. So please – if you feel like supporting us (and reading some badass books in the process), please use our store and/or the Amazon search bar on our site anytime you wish to order books. Hell, even if you want to order some cooking books, use the search bar first. We’ll love you for it.
